My very first job in high school was shelving books at my hometown library in suburban Chicago. Since then, the calm and quiet of libraries has drawn me in, for reading, research, and building community around sewing and quilting.
On Long Island, I have taught at several Nassau County libraries since 2015. If you would like me to come teach your library how to sew, please send this webpage to your local library’s Adult Programs coordinator and have them give me a call! (Libraries in bold own sewing machines for patron use).
